Well I've only experienced this watch a day or two but so far it is really awesome. It is exchanging another Atomic G-Shock that served me well. I'm a firefighter/paramedic and it really is nice to be competent to put on a view and forget about it and just know that it'll be working just fine when I need this. This is solar centric, so no worries in regards to battery ever dying. A single new feature compared to help my old G-Shock is the multi-band time sync. It doesn't only pick up a indicate from Colorado, but if you find yourself in the UK, the vast majority of Europe, or Japan it'll sync in those areas as well. A depend down timer is displayed on this watch, which was missing from my previous one. One useless (for you to me) feature of my own old watch was plenty of time logger. As far as I can tell, Casio provides dropped this pointless option with this new Mudman. Like every G-Shocks, it's built like a tank. G-Shocks are merely too tough for everyone to see myself at any time wearing anything else. One word on the price...I was able to find this noticeably cheaper on yet another site...so look around.
