Customer Reviews
5.0 out of 5 stars

After being on the side for a long time, I bit the round and purchased the PAG240. My business is happy with it in most cases :)

Rather than do the full review, here are a number of observations/details to product other reviews:

-Pictures don't do the watch justice! Look at one in person provided you can, or search Youtube. Not being obnoxiously flashy, it possesses a handsome utilitarian/rugged browse it. In my impression, silver pathfinders try to check pricier and will get more attention, including unwanted types. If you want entire functionality, go with this particular.

-The watch weighs ~60g/2.12oz. Which is 24 modern American pence, or ~11 American sectors. The entire face (like side buttons) has a similar diameter as the top lip of a typical soda can. I use it every day without seeing its weight or dimensions.
-It has an recommended (default on) power preserve mode which turns journey display after 60-70 min of a sedentary lifestyle. This will only power up between 10PM-6AM. Purely tilting the watch a bit will wake it in place.
-The timer can always be set for hours/minutes (not seconds). A timer can count straight down from 24 hours.
-This sunrise/sunset mode tends to make good use of your overlay LCD slices.
-The actual compass can be tweaked for magnetic declination (1°resolution) and calibrated along with bidirectional and northerly. This may also store an angle with memory.
-The display will be crisp when viewed strong. It becomes hard to see at extreme angles.
-The rotating bezel rotates incredibly fluidly. It's secured tightly to the face and also won't slip once you place it.
-The alarm is soft, but uses an increased pitched frequency (sorta such as a smoke detector). I obtained no trouble hearing the idea wearing headphones playing popular music.
-Buttons are easily offered and require a complete push to register. Only time will tell whether they'll pop out along with run for freedom like my old Ironman's...The light button is a very little hard to find by means of touch in the black, even with the handy ... guide bumps below the item.

-About the altimeter- height is calculated using temperature and atmospheric pressure facts. The manual suggests adding the watch where temperatures are stable during the vacation. Short of GPS, there is no way for sensors to perfectly measure altitude. This mode is good for general measurements at best and requires calibration on site ahead of each use.
-Altitude facts can be stored quickly every 5 sec (regarding 1 hr) or only two min intervals (for a day). The data is taped only when you stay in the altimeter mode. Each and every time you exit the mode, it accumulates the max/min ascent/descent statistics to the actual stored data. You can also store 25 manual sizing's.

I was seriously divided between this watch, the PAG40, PAG80, and this PAW1300 series.
-The PAG40 uses regular power packs (good!) but had simply no timer (dealbreaker).
-The PAG80 has all involving PAG240's features (+extra reminiscence), but no rotating frame, and the color plan was undesirable (dealbreaker)
-The PAG1300 has multi-zone atomic timekeeping (very good), is slimmer (good!), yet loses the cool combined LCD (dealbreaker).
