5.0 out of 5 stars
My Polar FT7 Heart Rate Monitor has been in use one month today and I love the idea. I have owned different Polars and a number of other brands and seriously, they have all recently been pretty much disposable. This Garmin I had held up all of five a short time and the last Pivotal had the strap while using the non-replaceble battery. This specific unit uses a easily removed module on the wrist strap and seems to represent better quality all around. The biggest peeve I've is the absolute loss of any real manual. On page 11 of the guide, right after instructions for initial setup, you usually are directed to further guidelines on the internet on a site that is regularly down. I had to observe a youtube video in order to set some of another functions. The so-named manual also barely brings up the fact that your strap has contacts that must be wet before you place the strap on your chest. I also got that will information on youtube. Apart from the issues with a manual the monitor has proven utterly reliable in addition to spot on accurate. It function even accurately monitors calories burned and generally seems to match the actual dietitian sourced calculators 100%. BTW, those calorie calcs your current dietician prescribes can typically be found on auction web sites dirt cheap. Besides, this monitor serves that functionality very well, at minimum as far as checking burned callories. I'm unclear how durable the accomplish is on the enjoy face as some from the paint seems to us rubbing off right in the Polar logo but your display seems OK and also the strap is very good. I highly recommend your Polar FT7 Heart Rate Monitor.
